About the role#
The Digital Design Intern will support the transformation of the Madison plant. You will observe operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement design projects. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Develop digital assets for websites, mobile applications, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Create graphics, illustrations, presentations, and visual content that follow brand standards.
- Support UX/UI design by creating wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes.
- Conduct usability testing with users and capture data for project owners.
- Produce 2D and 3D videos, including motion graphics, vectorization, script creation, and frame-by-frame editing.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university, preferably in a Bachelor's program.
- Majors in Digital Design, Graphic Design, UX Design, or similar fields.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Understanding of responsive web and mobile design concepts.
- A portfolio showcasing your design projects, coursework, or personal work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain design problems clearly.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior intern or co-op experience in the digital design space is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
