About the role#
The North America Summer 2027 Sales Internship is a comprehensive 10-week program designed to provide hands-on experience within a high-performing sales channel. Running from May 24 to July 30, 2027, this full-time role offers exposure to both business development and account management. Interns will work alongside full-time sales associates to gain a deep understanding of the Gartner sales process while receiving mentorship and support from colleagues and leadership.
What you'll do#
- Learn to execute the top priorities of the Gartner sales organization through hands-on training.
- Work directly with a sales team to support clients and prospects, focusing on engagement, retention, and growth strategies.
- Participate in active sales and retention activities alongside your aligned team.
- Shadow sales associates to gain real-time experience and practice key components of the sales process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Communications, Political Science, or Psychology.
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- A results-based, goal-focused mindset with demonstrated curiosity.
- Proven leadership experience or work history that complements strong academic achievement.
- Demonstrated extracurricular involvement in clubs or community organizations.
