About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the daily operations of our residential community. You will help maintain high occupancy levels by assisting with leasing tasks, resident retention, and general office support. This role requires a professional approach to customer service and the ability to collaborate effectively with your team.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Handle administrative front desk tasks.
- Process lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Keep the tour path clean to ensure a positive first impression for visitors.
- Help plan and execute community events.
- Assist with additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Location & details#
- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Compensation: $16 to $18 per hour plus bonus potential.
