About the role#
This is a paid, full-time architecture internship based in Owings Mills, Maryland. You will work on a team providing design services across a variety of projects. You will receive mentorship from experienced professionals throughout the summer term, which runs from mid-May through mid-August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research client requirements and architectural standards.
- Help develop projects from the initial survey through construction phases.
- Contribute to design concepts and presentations.
- Coordinate technical details with engineering disciplines.
- Review shop drawings and monitor construction progress.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software, such as Enscape or Lumion.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, and LEED standards is preferred.
- Exposure to transportation, education, commercial, industrial, or government building types is a plus.

- Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and location.
