About the role#
DCI Engineers is hiring a Structural Intern for our Missoula office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience and mentorship in structural engineering. You will work alongside engineers and BIM designers to support real projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform preliminary structural analysis and design for various project types.
- Draft and detail using Revit.
- Review shop drawings and submittals for construction support.
- Visit construction sites to support ongoing work.
- Collaborate with the team to coordinate project details.
- Learn through direct mentorship and project exposure.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- You are a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or a master's student.
- You communicate effectively.
- You work well both independently and as part of a team.
- You have a genuine interest in structural design and construction support.
