About the role#
G2 evaluates AI agents on real tasks and publishes the results on our marketplace. This internship supports the Agentic Marketplace team as we refine our evaluation methods, manage vendor relationships, and monitor market trends. You will report to the Head of Product for the Agentic Marketplace and work alongside our product, data science, and engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Break down AI agent jobs into testable steps.
- Create tasks, test data, and scoring rules.
- Review scores provided by our AI judge and human reviewers.
- Manage the vendor engagement pipeline and prepare results packets for vendors before publication.
- Track other evaluators and research what they publish to monitor market trends.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- Experience using or building AI tools like LLM APIs, agents, or chat assistants, with the ability to explain how they function and where they fail.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Comfort communicating with startup founders and product leaders.
- Ability to maintain your position when challenged while remaining open to changing your mind based on new facts.
- Capability to make progress on ambiguous problems without a set process.
- Availability for 10 to 15 hours per week during the school year.
Location & details#
- Location: On-site in San Francisco, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 (starting October or November).
- Compensation: $24 per hour.
- Employment: Paid internship; no visa sponsorship available.
