About the role#
Fuyao Group is hiring a Legal Intern to support our legal department in Moraine, Ohio. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship available on a rolling basis. You will work directly with our legal team to handle administrative tasks, compliance projects, and immigration documentation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation, collection, and revision of visa and green card application materials.
- Coordinate communication between outside counsel and internal applicants.
- Provide administrative support to senior legal counsel and the management team.
- Manage legal documents and handle translations as needed.
- Assist with compliance tasks and other duties assigned by the General Counsel.
- Wear required safety gear, such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots, when visiting the production floor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a JD program at an accredited law school.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the company.
- High attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Bilingual skills in Mandarin Chinese are preferred.
- Prior experience or training in legal administrative support is preferred.
