About the role#
We are looking for a law student to join our team as a summer legal intern. This role supports our corporate business through training and mentorship. You will gain exposure to legal work across various practice areas, including intellectual property, commercial transactions, litigation, labor and employment, and cybersecurity. We aim to align your projects with your specific legal interests.
What you'll do#
- Perform legal research and analysis.
- Draft contracts using templates and established procedures.
- Attend commercial negotiations, mediations, and client meetings.
- Lead legal projects and process improvements.
- Examine legal data to determine strategies.
- Analyze potential outcomes of cases, legislation, and regulation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABA approved law school.
- Full-time status at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
- Ability to commit to a 10 to 12 week period without interruptions.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Current residency within the continental U.S.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Personal integrity, intellectual curiosity, and an action-oriented mindset.
- Ability to balance different stakeholder interests and demonstrate collaborative skills.
Location & details#
- This position is available for Summer 2027.
- Work is performed on-site in Columbus or Indianapolis, Indiana, or remotely.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
