About the role#
Fuyao Group is hiring a Data Control Intern to join our team in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. You will work with engineers and data scientists to turn raw data into business solutions. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and organize raw data from multiple sources.
- Run exploratory data analysis to find patterns and trends.
- Build, test, and refine machine learning pipelines, AI prototypes, and statistical models.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visual aids to explain technical findings to non-technical teams.
- Document your methodologies, model performance, and assumptions.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the Process Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members, engineers, and customers.
- Proficiency in basic math, including fractions, decimals, and unit conversions.
- Familiarity with manufacturing software.
- Ability to solve practical problems with multiple variables.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
