About the role#
Fresh Mark Inc. offers a 12-week paid Engineering Summer Internship for Summer 2027. This full-time program runs from May 25, 2027, to August 13, 2027. Interns work on-site and participate in assignments that provide insight into our manufacturing operations while receiving coaching and feedback from leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to estimate costs for materials, labor, time, and other resources.
- Contribute to the development of project designs and plans.
- Analyze materials, equipment, and current practices used in projects.
- Compare actual project costs against initial estimates.
- Evaluate equipment, systems, and processes to identify modifications that improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
- Ensure all work complies with company policies, guidelines, and codes.
- Partner with the safety, operations, and quality assurance departments to troubleshoot problems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited university in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Junior status and at least 18 years of age by the start of the program.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored sponsorship.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between plants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Commitment to safety practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
