About the role#
This internship position focuses on the daily operations of the accommodation division, specifically within the front desk, concierge, and guest service departments. You will support the team in maintaining hotel standards and ensuring a high level of service for all guests. The role involves assisting with operational planning and maintaining efficiency to meet business needs.
What you'll do#
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and departure processes, including room assignments and key management.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in person, by phone, or by email with a focus on professional and personalized service.
- Manage guest satisfaction by addressing special requests and resolving complaints as they arise.
- Oversee financial tasks related to guest stays, such as processing payments, handling currency, and balancing accounts.
- Support the supervision of luggage handling, including monitoring storage and resolving issues with damaged or missing items.
- Utilize hotel computer systems to manage reservations, cancellations, and daily reporting.
- Contribute to key performance indicator goals related to service quality.
What you'll need#
- Expert fluency in both French and English, required for assisting an international clientele.
- Strong customer service skills and a sociable personality.
- Ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues quickly.
- Capacity to manage stress and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Pursuing studies in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or Marketing.
