About the role#
As a Consumer Insights Intern at Flexsteel Industries, you will assist our team with active research projects. You will learn our strategy for insights from the ground up, gaining hands-on experience that connects to your studies. This role involves working across functions to understand how our business operates and how consumer research shapes our marketing and product design.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams on research projects to meet project timelines.
- Coordinate with research agencies to track progress and keep projects on budget.
- Analyze data to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Transform text and narrative content into clear, visual presentations for leadership and sales teams.
- Communicate research insights to internal stakeholders, including sales and retail partners.
- Learn our approach to market segmentation and identify ways to apply existing research to future projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, having completed at least your second year.
- A background in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A solid understanding of marketing and consumer research, specifically regarding segmentation, product development, and messaging.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- This is an on-site position based in Dubuque, Iowa.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
