About the role#
This IT internship at Flexsteel Industries provides broad exposure to end-user support, systems administration, networking, and business application support. You will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects that impact the business. Throughout the summer, you will collaborate with different teams, present project updates, and participate in intern-specific development sessions.
What you'll do#
- Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot basic network and hardware trouble tickets.
- Document internal IT procedures.
- Follow ITIL-centric helpdesk and desktop support practices to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Apply your knowledge of general IT systems and network concepts.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT and have completed your second year.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent customer service skills.
