About the role#
FIRST is seeking a Client Services Intern to support our account management and business development teams. This position offers an opportunity to learn about agency operations, client relationship management, and sales strategy. You will work 20 to 40 hours per week in a collaborative environment, contributing to the growth of strategic client partnerships.
What you'll do#
- Support the account management and business development teams with account planning, relationship tracking, and growth initiatives.
- Research target companies, industries, competitors, and key decision-makers to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare client-facing materials, including presentations, case studies, and meeting notes.
- Assist with the coordination of client engagement activities such as meetings, roundtables, and events.
- Maintain accurate account, contact, and engagement data within Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Strategy, Creative, and Production, to support cross-functional initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Psychology, Events, or Hospitality.
- Strong research, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- A proactive, curious mindset with an interest in client services and business development.
- Prior experience in a customer service role is considered a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in New York, New York.
- Candidates must reside in the tri-state area and be able to work from the office as required.
- This is a paid internship position.
- Compensation is $20 per hour for Bachelor's degree candidates and $25 per hour for Master's degree candidates.
