About the role#
First American is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to join our technology team. You will work on projects that modernize real estate title and closing processes. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional environment, with the possibility of continuing in a part-time capacity or transitioning into a full-time role after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, product managers, designers, and DevOps engineers.
- Propose ideas, implement solutions, and launch features for our users and customers.
- Help shape the product lifecycle by working with teams across the organization.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, testing, and monitoring.
- Gain experience with technologies including C#, TypeScript, Python, React, NestJS, SQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, and various AWS services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
- Major in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
- Prior experience through university projects, hackathons, design challenges, or previous internships.
Location & details#
- Role is fully remote.
- Position is paid, with an hourly range of $15.38 to $20.48.
- This is a part-time internship with a rolling start date.
