About the role#
As a Brand Design Intern, you will work within the Brand Studio team to support creative initiatives ranging from campaigns and product launches to visual identity and storytelling. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real brand moments while learning how design systems and craft function at scale. This role provides an opportunity to build foundational professional skills and develop your creative point of view.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of visually engaging brand work across campaigns and storytelling projects.
- Assist in exploring visual directions through typography, composition, and image-making.
- Contribute concepts and drafts while receiving mentorship from the design team.
- Help execute scalable visual systems and toolkits.
- Collaborate with Brand Studio partners and cross-functional teams.
- Research and share new creative references, tools, and techniques.
- Practice bringing craft and intentionality to your work from early exploration to final files.
- Present work-in-progress and finished projects to the team to gather and incorporate feedback.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio demonstrating visual curiosity and a developing sense of craft in composition, typography, and color.
- Working proficiency in Figma.
- Strong visual communication skills.
- Comfort sharing early, unpolished work for feedback.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and ask questions to gain context.
- Exposure to motion or animation tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with brand or design systems is helpful.
- Experience with AI-powered image or content generation tools is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site at our San Francisco hub.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- We are looking for students or recent graduates in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Media Studies, or Art.
