About the role#
As a Landscape Design Intern at HDR, you will gain hands-on experience by working on active projects. You will work under the direct supervision of architects, project managers, and other professionals. This role allows you to connect with company leaders and recent graduates through our mentoring and young professionals programs.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the architectural design process.
- Develop alternative design solutions and create presentation graphics for client communication or agency approval.
- Produce design development drawings and models.
- Collaborate with production staff to complete technical details and construction drawings.
- Assist with other project duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Architecture or Industrial Design.
- At least 2 years of coursework completed with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software packages relevant to your field of study.
- High attention to detail.
- A commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
