About the role#
We are looking for software engineering interns to join our teams for the Summer 2027 term. You will be fully embedded into a small, collaborative engineering team where you will work alongside a mentor and teammates to build and ship meaningful features, tools, or systems. We pair interns with teams based on their skills and interests, ranging from product development and platform infrastructure to security engineering.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to projects that directly align with team goals and impact.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to break down features and plan timelines.
- Build, document, and maintain tests, features, or infrastructure.
- Share feedback and participate in peer code reviews.
- Ship your projects by the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Experience writing clean code in at least one general-purpose language.
- A solid grasp of core computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
- Experience solving technical problems through school, work, or personal projects.
- Curiosity about how systems are designed and operate.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn, get feedback, and grow as an engineer.
- Ability to collaborate well with others.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in San Francisco, California or New York, New York.
- The hourly base pay rate is $55 USD.
- Figma provides a housing stipend and travel reimbursement for interns.
- We are not offering sponsorship for this position.
