About the role#
As a Branch Intern at the Fidelity Investor Center, you will work alongside financial professionals to support the client experience. This 10-week, full-time summer internship runs from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while participating in the FIDTERN program, which provides coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and assist with investment products and services.
- Take on work assignments to strengthen your knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Develop business, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Collaborate with team members to address business challenges and identify process improvements.
- Support business-critical initiatives.
- Participate in networking events and learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- You are an undergraduate student in your junior year of college, majoring in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- You have an interest in investing and wealth management.
- You bring experience in customer service, retail, sales, or banking.
- You possess leadership experience through student organizations.
- You have a professional demeanor and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- You have a basic understanding of the current market, economy, and economic trends.
- You demonstrate the ability to promote customer loyalty.
