About the role#
As a Branch Intern, you work directly with financial professionals at a Fidelity Investor Center. You will gain exposure to personal investing and financial planning while building professional skills. This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship running from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will participate in the FIDTERN program, which includes professional development, networking, and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and help clients with investment products and services.
- Collaborate with team members to solve business challenges.
- Identify ways to improve branch processes.
- Contribute ideas and participate in branch initiatives.
- Work on significant assignments to build your knowledge of the financial services industry.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior in an undergraduate program.
- You are pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- You have prior experience in retail, sales, banking, or customer service.
- You have held leadership roles in student organizations.
- You possess a professional demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.
- You have a basic understanding of the economy and current market trends.
- You are interested in wealth management and investing.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
- Locations include West Hartford, Greenwich, Fairfield, Stamford, and New Haven, Connecticut.
