    About the role#

    Federal Signal is hiring a part-time Integration Technician Intern for our facility in University Park, Illinois. This role supports our commissioning and field service activities by ensuring engineered systems meet design specifications and test requirements.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct acceptance testing by reading systems drawings.
    • Wire AC/DC power and simulation equipment.
    • Configure systems equipment and load firmware.
    • Modify IP addresses.
    • Assist in the development of system test procedures.
    • Provide first-line internal support for commissioning.
    • Help document and test new products.
    • Participate in training and system demonstrations.

    What you'll need#

    • You are an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor degree in computer science or information technology.
    • You have completed your sophomore year of college.
    • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • You can work independently and as part of a team.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based on-site in University Park, Illinois.
    • The position is part-time with a wage of $22.00 per hour.
    • We are considering local candidates only as we do not provide relocation or housing stipends.
