About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience within the Human Resources department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. You will contribute to real-world projects and receive mentorship from professionals in the field. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support HR programs and daily initiatives.
- Assist in completing departmental projects and reports.
- Develop new approaches to talent engagement.
- Prepare presentation decks for various internal audiences.
- Support event planning and execution.
- Learn and apply technical skills relevant to the banking industry.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Human Resources, Public Policy, Sociology, or Industrial Psychology.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access, or other data access tools.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a group setting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.

- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Modality: This role is on-site.
- Duration: 10 to 12 weeks, working 40 hours per week.
