About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking an External Communications Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cleveland, Ohio. You will gain practical experience by contributing to projects within the External Communications team, receiving mentorship from experienced professionals, and participating in professional development workshops.
What you'll do#
- Research, write, and edit content for ClevelandFed.org and fedcommunities.org.
- Develop social media content and graphics for various platforms.
- Create materials for use at internal and external Bank events.
- Research local organizations and compile background information for external engagements.
- Assist other External Engagement teams with various tasks and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Advertising, Communications, Digital Communications and Media, Journalism, Public Relations, or Integrated Marketing Communications.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least one semester of school remaining.
- Strong digital skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Ability to work independently and within a group in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
