About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is seeking a Communications & Engagement Intern for the Summer 2027 program. This 12-week, full-time internship offers an opportunity to work within our Communications and Engagement division. You will gain exposure to Bank operations and contribute to projects that support our mission.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and executing events for external stakeholders.
- Participate in engagement efforts to strengthen relationships across the district.
- Support news media relations by updating contact lists, researching media targets, and identifying new potential contacts.
- Propose content ideas and support development for our social media strategy.
- Monitor social media engagement and suggest optimizations.
- Contribute ideas for storytelling and brand visibility, including work related to the Economy Museum.
- Participate in the Bank’s usage of AI for content, measurement, and media relations.
What you'll need#
- You must be a college graduate or expecting to graduate in May 2027.
- Majors in Communications, Marketing, or related fields are welcome.
- You must submit a resume and a cover letter that addresses your interests and relevant experience.
Location & details#
- This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
- The position is hybrid and requires 35 hours per week.
- The internship runs from June 7th to August 27th, 2027.
- This is a paid position.
