About the role#
As a software engineering intern, you will work directly with our founders and mentor engineers to build and ship features for our security training platform. You will take on the same responsibilities as our full-time engineers, moving at a weekly cadence to deliver production-ready code. You will help us use AI to improve employee security defenses by building full-stack products, backend services, and data pipelines.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and ship end-to-end features for our gen-AI security training platform.
- Analyze security data and build pipelines to improve our employee behavioral profile system.
- Improve and scale our gen-AI video generation system.
- Write organized, well-tested Python code.
- Work with mentors to understand product requirements and design systems.
- Validate your own features from start to finish in a production environment.
- Debug backend database schemas and data pipelines.
- Iterate on product features based on customer feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering degree program.
- At least two previous internships focused on Python backend environments.
- Experience shipping projects to production in past roles.
- A solid understanding of backend API development.
- Pride in writing well-factored, organized code.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in San Francisco, California.
