About the role#
The Systems Analyst Intern will join the Consumer and Commercial Banking Technology team. This role provides hands-on experience in supporting and enhancing banking applications that serve retail and business customers. Interns will work alongside experienced analysts and engineers to learn how technology drives operational efficiency, customer experience, and regulatory compliance in the financial services sector.
What you'll do#
- Assist in documenting application workflows, system functional requirements, and system architecture.
- Shadow analysts during application testing, configuration, and deployment activities.
- Monitor application performance and report issues to the support team.
- Support data gathering and analysis for small-scale projects or enhancements.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, including system use cases, user guides, and training materials.
- Learn and apply basic troubleshooting techniques under supervision.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software applications lifecycle management and data concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work in a secure, regulated environment with attention to data privacy and compliance.
