About the role#
The IT Field Services internship offers hands-on experience supporting end-user technology across branch, corporate, and operational environments. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support device refresh initiatives, new hire onboarding, and hardware inventory management. This role provides a foundation in IT service management processes and customer-focused service delivery.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and setup of laptops, monitors, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Provide first-level technical support through the Tech Bar and field support activities.
- Help users resolve common hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Support IT asset management by updating inventory records, tracking equipment, and maintaining documentation.
- Update service requests, incident tickets, and deployment records in the IT service management platform.
- Assist with conference room and meeting technology, including basic troubleshooting of audiovisual and collaboration tools.
- Participate in operational projects, documentation updates, and team training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

- This is an on-site internship based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The position is for the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
