About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with the data and analytics engineering team at F.N.B. Corporation. You will gain exposure to real-world data challenges, including the storage, movement, and consumption of information. The program focuses on building foundational skills in SQL, ETL, SSIS, and data architecture while adhering to governance and support best practices.
What you'll do#
- Shadow data and analytics engineers to learn about their daily duties and ongoing projects.
- Attend meetings regarding code reviews, data governance, and standardization.
- Write SQL scripts and queries to support team objectives.
- Analyze data and create visualizations using Spotfire.
- Utilize data virtualization tools.
- Participate in scheduled training and events for summer interns.
What you'll need#
- Official enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- A major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. F.N.B. Corporation does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Hermitage, PA, or Pittsburgh, PA.
- No corporate housing is provided.
