About the role#
The Application Analyst Intern will join the Consumer and Commercial Banking Technology team. This role provides hands-on experience supporting and enhancing banking applications that serve retail and business customers. You will work alongside experienced application analysts and system engineers to learn how technology supports operational efficiency and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
What you'll do#
- Assist in documenting application workflows, system functional requirements, and system architecture for banking platforms.
- Shadow analysts during application testing, configuration, and deployment activities.
- Monitor application performance and report issues to the support team.
- Support data gathering and analysis for small-scale projects or enhancements.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, including system use cases, user guides, support procedures, and training materials.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on technology improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software application lifecycle management and data concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a secure, regulated environment with attention to data privacy and compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
