About the role#
F&G is hiring a Risk Analyst intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will support the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team by managing the ERM SharePoint, improving existing processes, and promoting operational efficiency. This role reports to the Director of Operational Risk and the Associate Risk Analyst, providing opportunities to collaborate across the Risk and Internal Audit departments.
What you'll do#
- Analyze risk data, identify trends, and create reports.
- Assist with system administration tasks in JIRA and AuditBoard.
- Learn about ERM process flows and work products.
- Support the team with ad hoc project requests.
- Solve problems and collaborate with team members across all levels.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Analytics, or Risk Management.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exposure to computer programming languages.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
- A high level of motivation and the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A desire to learn about ERM processes and analyze data logically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in a career within Risk Management is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is paid.
- We offer flexible work arrangements including remote, hybrid, and on-site options. You will coordinate with your manager to determine the best arrangement for your role.
