About the role#
F&G is hiring an IT Business Systems Analyst intern to join our team in Des Moines. This role provides hands-on experience in software development life cycles, data management, and general delivery support. You will report to the Business Systems Team and work alongside various departments to solve business problems.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members and users with resolving technical problems.
- Support teams by using Agile techniques, processes, and tools.
- Test software enhancements and create necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts to analyze and validate data.
- Troubleshoot applications to resolve production issues.
- Handle general administrative tasks to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- A willingness to learn SQL, data integration, and software integration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others, build relationships, and demonstrate leadership.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to complete tasks accurately and on time.
