About the role#
F&G is hiring a Human Resources intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides exposure to various HR functions and offers professional development opportunities within the insurance industry. You will work on department-wide projects and help coordinate internal programs.
What you'll do#
- Act as the primary liaison for the Des Moines Corporate Games and support team captains.
- Plan and run social and community engagement events for the Summer Internship Program.
- Assist with the development and execution of internship programming.
- Support HR projects spanning Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Workforce Intelligence, and Business Partners.
- Help implement new HR platforms and internal processes.
- Contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives along with campus relations programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to business, psychology, or education.
- A clear interest in the human resources field.
- Previous experience or training in HR is preferred.
- Ability to manage projects effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter attitude and a collaborative mindset.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role supports remote, hybrid, or on-site work arrangements based in Des Moines, Iowa.
