About the role#
The Global Business Services Financial Services team is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support our North American operations. You will work within our Service Excellence Center to assist with general accounting tasks and financial reporting. This is a paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor and create journal entries to maintain precise records.
- Analyze accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage and process monthly intercompany invoices.
- Handle cash applications and reconciliations.
- Assist the logistics team with weekly freight postings.
- Conduct research to identify and manage unclaimed property.
- Provide support for government surveys and reporting requirements.
- Help prepare and compile the annual tax package.
- Execute monthly close procedures and generate financial reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Business degree program, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make informed decisions.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Appleton, Wisconsin, and Neenah, Wisconsin.
- The position is full-time during the summer and transitions to a remote, part-time schedule during the school year.
- This is a rolling internship.
