About the role#
ESP Associates is hiring for a Summer 2027 internship within our Water/Wastewater division. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will work with our engineering teams to support civil and structural design projects across our Arkansas locations.
What you'll do#
- Create detailed plans and scale drawings for civil and structural engineering projects.
- Apply CAD design best practices and follow company standards, client preferences, and project requirements.
- Update plans based on redlines and review comments.
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to complete assignments.
- Learn and use new technologies to support project tasks.
- Communicate project updates effectively with your team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- A driving record that meets company policy requirements.
