About the role#
Equiteq offers a 10-week summer internship program starting June 7, 2027. This program provides exposure to the M&A process through training, project-based assignments, and direct interaction with deal teams. You will work in our Atlanta office to develop skills in financial analysis, market research, and valuations.
What you'll do#
- Research companies and markets within the tech services and consulting subsectors.
- Build financial models and perform valuations.
- Complete individual and group assignments that mirror the stages of an M&A transaction.
- Observe live transactions and support deal teams with specific tasks.
- Present your findings to bankers and receive structured feedback.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a sophomore with an expected graduation date in Spring or Summer 2028.
- You have a strong academic record in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- You possess excellent analytical, research, and presentation skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with databases like CapitalIQ or Pitchbook.
- You handle pressure well, meet deadlines, and focus on detail.
- You demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork and client service.
- Previous internship experience in investment banking, accounting, or transaction services is an advantage.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The internship runs for 10 weeks.
- This position is paid at an hourly rate of $25.
