About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate joins our advisory team for the summer of 2027. You will support a range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, royalty monetizations, and capital markets transactions. This role offers exposure to senior bankers and hands-on deal execution experience.
What you'll do#
- Create detailed financial models for valuation and analysis, including DCF, LBO, M&A, accretion/dilution, and comparable company analysis.
- Prepare marketing documents such as pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions, and board presentations.
- Conduct financial and industry due diligence to evaluate transaction risk and returns.
- Support senior bankers in relationship development and new idea generation.
- Participate in client meetings and due diligence visits.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a top MBA program.
- Strong focus on finance coursework and a command of corporate finance and accounting.
- Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Clear communication and presentation abilities.
- Keen attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent judgment.
- A desire to contribute to the MTS team culture.
