About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program begins June 7, 2027. It is a structured program that combines training, project work, and direct learning from our bankers. You will gain exposure to the M&A process while developing skills in financial analysis, market research, and valuation. You will be paired with a buddy and mentor for guidance throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Research tech services and consulting subsectors.
- Build and refine financial models and perform valuations.
- Complete individual and group assignments that mirror the stages of an M&A transaction.
- Observe live transactions and support deal teams with specific tasks.
- Present your findings to bankers and receive feedback on your work.
What you'll need#
- You are a current sophomore on track to graduate in summer 2028.
- A strong academic record in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, research, and presentation skills.
- Previous experience in investment banking, accounting, or transaction services is an advantage.
- Familiarity with databases like CapitalIQ or Pitchbook is a plus.
- You should be detail-oriented, resilient, and able to work well in a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site role for 10 weeks.
- The program is available in New York, NY; Boston, MA; and Atlanta, GA.
- You must be able to work in the office location where you are placed.
- This position is paid at an hourly rate of $25 per hour.
