About the role#
This 12-week internship program provides hands-on training for individuals pursuing a career as a data center technician or engineer. You will gain practical experience in critical facility operations, supporting infrastructure that serves hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, fiber optics, HVAC, fire, and building automation systems.
- Support customer success through timely and detailed order execution.
- Maintain accurate written records of all daily work activities.
- Develop technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to team objectives and facility operations.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, with the physical agility to climb and stoop.
- Flexibility to work any assigned shift, including nights, holidays, and emergency response rotations.
- Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
- While not required, experience with HVAC, plumbing, fiber optics, ethernet, and electrical systems is welcomed.
- Preferred majors include Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Computer, or Civil Engineering.
