About the role#
This 12-week internship program provides hands-on training for careers as a data center technician or engineer. You will work in critical facilities that support essential services like hospitals and public safety centers, ensuring that infrastructure remains operational at all times. This role is open to students from various backgrounds, including those from trade schools.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, fiber optics, HVAC, fire, and building automation systems.
- Develop technical knowledge through the use of industry-standard tools and systems.
- Support customer satisfaction by executing orders in a timely and detailed manner.
- Maintain accurate written records of all daily work activities.
- Contribute to team objectives and develop strong problem-solving skills.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, including the agility to climb and stoop as needed.
- Flexibility to work any assigned shift, including nights, holidays, and emergency response rotations.
- A strong customer service mindset and a commitment to precision and accuracy.
- While not required, experience with HVAC, plumbing, fiber optics, ethernet, switches, servers, electrical systems, or diesel generators is welcomed.

- Locations: Dallas, TX; Elk Grove Village, IL; Ashburn, VA; and SV18 Silicon Valley, CA.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid hourly at a rate of $25 - $35 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
