About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Product Engineering Co-Op for our site in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment beginning in January 2027. You will join the New Product Development group to support reticle handling product initiatives. The role reports to the Engineering Director and involves working closely with the broader engineering team to improve product manufacturability and performance.
What you'll do#
- Plan, execute, and document engineering experiments, then present your findings to the team.
- Design, build, and evaluate test fixtures and manufacturing support tools.
- Assist with product development, including prototype assembly, testing, and performance evaluations.
- Support efforts to refine measurement methods and improve design robustness.
- Research emerging technologies and materials to support new product development.
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional project discussions.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering.
- Graduation date of May 2027 or later.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently after initial training and maintain organized work practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.

- Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
