About the role#
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Burnet, Texas for the Winter 2027 term. This assignment lasts 6 months. You will support the engineering team within our Advanced Deposition Materials business unit. Your work focuses on sustaining and improving containers used for specialty chemicals in semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Learn the cleaning and assembly processes for canisters and ampoules, including safety control systems.
- Collaborate with production and engineering staff to improve manufacturing processes.
- Create and update 2D drawings for components, subassemblies, and bills of materials.
- Generate new part numbers, ECRs, and related support documentation.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and productive work environment through clear communication.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering program.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Experience with CAD software.
- A hands-on approach and comfort using mechanical tools like wrenches and ratchets.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
