About the role#
EMS-Tech is hiring a Business Admin Intern for the summer of 2027. This role offers hands-on experience in an office setting while working alongside experienced professionals. You will split your time between office administration and supporting our Quality Management System team. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Belleville office.
What you'll do#
Your time will be evenly divided between general office support and analytical project work.
- Manage office supplies, including monitoring the supply closet and placing orders.
- Act as a backup for reception, receive parcels, and manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Support onsite meeting spaces and coordinate company vehicle maintenance.
- Assist with company event planning and light organization of the shipping area.
- Help the Document Control team process files and manage drawing issues.
- Assist with the management of codes, standards, and company pamphlets.
- Digitize archives and help publish policies and procedures for the Quality Management System.
- Collaborate on continual improvement objectives and support Process Improvement Committee initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Social Science, Bachelor of Arts, or Business Administration program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Power Suite (PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn and take initiative.

- Location: Belleville, Ontario.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
