About the role#
Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is hiring a Field Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role provides hands-on exposure to heavy civil construction projects. You will work alongside project managers, engineers, and field staff to gain practical experience in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams on the planning, execution, and management of construction work.
- Spend time on job sites to observe and participate in daily construction activities.
- Assist with project documentation, such as reports, plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Learn about construction methods, materials, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Participate in troubleshooting and finding solutions to project challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program or technical school, such as Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.

- Location: Springdale, Arkansas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
