    About the role#

    We are looking for a Research & Development Engineering Co-Op to join our Power & Water Solutions business. You will join our Technology team to participate in the full research and development lifecycle. This role offers hands-on experience and training supported by senior engineers. You will contribute to projects involving renewable energy, power generation, and water treatment infrastructure.

    What you'll do#

    • Solve complex electrical, mechanical, and software problems as part of a global team.
    • Contribute to the design and engineering execution of projects and initiatives.
    • Learn about automation solutions and how they meet customer demands.
    • Provide new ideas to technology, engineering, and management teams.
    • Apply engineering principles while balancing customer needs with financial and schedule constraints.
    • Collaborate with other co-ops on cross-functional projects.
    • Receive mentorship and training from senior engineers.
    • Complete 3 on-site rotations as part of a semester-on, semester-off program.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Enrollment in a formal Co-Op program as part of your degree curriculum.
    • Ability to work on-site in Pittsburgh, PA.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Ability to travel up to 5%.

    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment: Full-time, paid position.
