About the role#
As an Applications Engineer Intern, you will work with the Test and Measurement sales and business development teams. You will provide technical leadership to help qualify, advance, and close sales opportunities within the semiconductor and electronics industries. This role involves working with a team of business and technical leaders to drive growth.
What you'll do#
- Talk with customers to understand their technical and operational requirements.
- Recommend appropriate Test and Measurement solutions.
- Create proof-of-concepts using hardware and software for customer demonstrations.
- Build relationships and trust with customers and account managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product feedback.
- Contribute to various technical initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or computer science.
- Familiarity with electronic measurement equipment such as power supplies, DMMs, scopes, and function generators.
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language like C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, or Python.
- Effective oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration abilities and English language proficiency.
- Knowledge of RF communications and power electronics is preferred.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
