About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports the Electra Grid Solutions brand through content creation, event coordination, and marketing analytics. This paid, full-time summer internship provides hands-on experience in social media, branding, graphic design, and campaign management within the energy sector. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and internal departments to enhance brand awareness and support business development.
What you'll do#
- Plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms.
- Support the selection, ordering, and branding of promotional merchandise.
- Contribute to graphic design, photography, and videography projects.
- Develop marketing materials including brochures, presentations, banners, and proposals.
- Participate in the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and community events.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using analytics tools.
- Update and maintain CRM systems and mailing lists.
- Coordinate with vendors and manage marketing-related purchase orders.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Preferred: Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Preferred: Familiarity with social media scheduling tools, CRM platforms, and photography or videography experience.

- Physical requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
