Marketing Intern

About the role#

The Marketing Intern supports the Electra Grid Solutions brand through content creation, event coordination, and marketing analytics. This paid internship provides hands-on experience in branding, graphic design, and campaign management within the energy sector. You will work directly with the Marketing Manager and internal teams to enhance brand awareness and support business development initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Plan, create, and schedule content for social media platforms.
• Design and develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, banners, and proposals.
• Contribute to photography, videography, and graphic design projects.
• Assist with the selection, ordering, and branding of promotional merchandise.
• Participate in the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and community events.
• Monitor marketing campaign performance and maintain CRM systems and mailing lists.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist with marketing-related purchase orders.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or GED required; current enrollment or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and sit or stand for extended periods.

• Travel: Local and regional travel is required, with occasional overnight trips possible.
