- Implement RTL in SystemVerilog.
- Create verification plans, build testbench components, and write or debug tests.
- Run synthesis, place-and-route, and timing analysis.
- Evaluate power, performance, and area trade-offs.
- Improve design, verification, and implementation flows using automation and tooling.
- Collaborate with architecture, design, and verification engineers to resolve issues before tapeout.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Graduation expected by Summer 2028.
- At least one term of school remaining after Summer 2027.
- Coursework or project experience in digital logic design, verification, VLSI/physical design, or EDA tooling.
- Experience with a programming or scripting language such as Python, C/C++, Tcl, or Perl.
Location & details#
- Locations: Austin, TX, San Jose, CA, or Pittsburgh, PA.
- Terms: Summer 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Modality: On-site, remote, or hybrid options available.
