About the role#
The Student Experience Manager serves as the primary contact for students on campus. You will focus on supporting Academic Year students by managing their wellbeing and resolving daily challenges. This is an active, on-site role that requires building relationships with students to ensure they feel supported during their time on campus. You will report to the Director of Student Services.
What you'll do#
- Act as the primary point of contact for student welfare concerns and manage individual cases with confidentiality.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with Academic Year students to identify and address personal or social challenges.
- Design and implement initiatives that improve student satisfaction, inclusion, and a sense of belonging.
- Work closely with Academic, Residential, and Activities teams to coordinate student support.
- Set clear goals for the Student Services department and track progress on improvement plans.
- Gather student feedback to refine programs and services.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in student services, welfare, youth work, education, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage casework sensitively and effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience setting and tracking departmental goals.
- A background in Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration is preferred.
