About the role#
The Student Experience Coordinator supports the daily operations of the residential program at EF Academy. You serve as a central point of contact for students, families, and staff while coordinating residential systems and campus logistics. This is a full-time, 12-month, live-in position with provided accommodation.
What you'll do#
- Support daily front desk operations and act as a primary resource for the residential community.
- Assist students with questions, requests, and practical needs related to boarding life.
- Maintain accurate residential records, including room assignments, housing allocations, and documentation.
- Manage student information systems, such as Orah, to track student sign-ins, sign-outs, and leave requests.
- Serve as a visible and professional presence throughout the residential day.
- Act as Director on Duty during assigned evening, weekend, and overnight shifts to provide campus-wide oversight and emergency response.
- Facilitate student arrivals, departures, and transitions, including orientation to campus life.
- Collaborate with Residential Life, Security, and Health Services to support student well-being and safety.
What you'll need#
- Experience in education, residential life, student services, hospitality, or administrative support. Experience working with adolescents is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and exercise judgment in a residential environment.
- Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn student information and management systems.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to operate Academy vehicles for student transportation.
- Comfort working with a diverse, international student population.
Location & details#
- Location: Thornwood, New York.
- Compensation: $40,000 - $42,000 annually.
- This is an on-site, full-time, live-in role.
