About the role#
The Student Experience Coordinator supports student engagement and success initiatives at the EF International Language Campus in Vancouver. This role focuses on developing and implementing programs that encourage student participation and retention. The position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and assist with all major on and off-campus events.
- Support key departmental programs including New Student Orientation, graduation ceremonies, and student mentorship initiatives.
- Lead the promotion of student life events using social media channels.
- Provide encouragement and support to students, student organizations, departments, and academic programs.
- Serve as a student advisor and assist with daily student inquiries.
- Maintain the campus emergency phone on a rotating weekly basis to respond to after-hours incidents.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience with student services or student support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and campuses.
