About the role#
EDGE Engineering is looking for interns for the Summer 2027 term. We treat our interns like new graduate EITs. You will gain experience on drainage, aviation, flood control, and water quality projects across Texas. You will work alongside EITs, Project Engineers, and Project Managers on projects for public sector clients.
What you'll do#
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling.
- Complete schematic and PS&E level design work.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Develop construction cost estimates and specifications.
- Coordinate and communicate with team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
- Interest in drainage, stormwater, and water quality analysis and design.
- Proficiency in English.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to solve problems and work well within a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship at $25 to $30 per hour.
- Work is on-site at either our Austin or Houston office, Monday through Friday.
- We do not offer sponsorship for this position.
